Montpelier Floods of State Street in 1927 and 1992

These photos show the different floods on State Street in Montpelier. We picked these photos because they are very interesting. the weather in these photos are, as you can see, very wet. It rained a lot, and the city flooded. These photos are related to each other because they are both floods on State Street. These floods were 65 years apart, but they were big floods. If there were pictures of State Street ten years after the floods, then it would show the streets without any water. The street is fully repaired and now it looks like there were never any floods.

I worked with Sara and Carly for this project. I think that these are good choices for showing climate change because it is the same natural disaster, but at different time so we could see how the effects have changed overtime.

We thought that these pictures were good for this project because we could compare the differences and the similarities of the two floods that are 65 years apart. We haven't had any floods in many years, and there are probably many reasons to that...

I worked with Sara and Annie for this project. It is important to compare the same places at different times. You can notice their similarities and differences and see what changes in climate had occured.
