angel and duncan and ashley talk to paul about light bulbs and green house gasses.
The interview with Paul Markowitz

What do you do for a job?
I help communities promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. I help people not use as much energy, especially by using fluorescent light bulbs. I tell our community to use these lightbulbs because they use less wattage, saving energy, and emitting less greenhouse gasses. That’s a good thing! We need to use less fossil fuels.

We should use hybrid cars because they use many less gallons of gas, and they can save energy. In a car, the sun’s rays go into the car, trapping the heat. The windows keep the heat inside; that’s just like the greenouse effect on earth, except instead of windows, greenhouse gasses keep the heat in. We need to make less greenhouse gasses and use less energy.

We should also use passive solar heaters on our roofs, to warm our hot water instead of using fossil fuels. Anything we can do to use less fossil fuels will release less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Let’s conserve!
